What is the job like?
Every day, you will enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
Entering and interacting with production areas to perform water, environmental, equipment, compressed air, and nitrogen sampling in order to comply with monitoring plans.
Working in the microbiology laboratory, conducting analyses of water, raw materials, packaging materials, semi-finished products, stability samples, finished products, and microbiological assessments.
Preparing culture media and performing growth promotion testing to evaluate their microbiological quality.
Performing verification and validation of microbiological analytical methods.
Developing and executing protocols, reports, and documentation for validated microbiological methods.
Operating specialized equipment involved in microbiological control processes.
Your Contribution
To make the most of this role, you should have:
A professional degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field, with a valid professional license/registration.
Intermediate English proficiency, as it is required for interactions during inspections and site visits.
A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in the manufacturing of non-sterile products.
Solid knowledge of microbiological analytical methods, monitoring of critical utility/support systems, and microbiological validations.
Strong self-management skills to plan and carry out tasks independently and effectively.
Assertive communication and influencing skills to facilitate the implementation of improvements within the organization.
