Job Description

Among the main tasks, the Controller will support local Finance team in:


  • Supervise issuance of financial statements among with more than 20 information annexes, that are reported monthly to the local regulator (Superintendencia Compañías, Valores y Seguros)
  • Support team on the monthly tax return reports and the annual income tax return to regulator SRI
  • Validation of CAPEX projects execution and other related analysis
  • Supervise aging of suspense accounts and others related to coinsurance businesses.
  • Estimation and accounting of technical reserves, including UEPR and IBNR among others
  • Reconciliation of balances with related parties abroad
  • Coordination of quarterly review processes with external auditors and risk rating agencies
  • Implementation of the company's accounting policies for local and GAAP purposes
  • Financial analysis on the LoB profitability, channel and sponsor business
  • Generation of monthly financial reports for the CFO and Company's Board of Directors
  • Risk analysis to financial procedures

By nature, the Controller must be a qualified professional ideally with a registered CPA degree and extensive experience in local accounting and tax regulations.
