Description:

The purpose of the position is to carry out machining processes and manufacture turned parts on conventional machines, in accordance with the established production program and under quality, safety and environmental care requirements.

A successful person in this position must have a focus on the needs of internal or external customers and be willing to provide solutions during their work shift. It is important that the person has knowledge of regulatory procedures based on the specifications of the product to be machined such as ISO, API, etc., as well as planning preventive and corrective maintenance of the machines.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Carry out the machining/manufacturing process of parts of different parts of bottom and surface equipment, both manufacturing and remanufacturing through the use of conventional machines.

• Carry out the operation of conventional machines and tools such as milling machines, horizontal and vertical drills, etc.

• Carry out the repair and maintenance process of the different Business Lines.

• Interpret the different manufacturing plans of pieces and parts of equipment.

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on machines.

Qualifications and experience:

• Mechanical Technical Bachelor / Electromechanical / related.

• Experience of at least 3 years as a Turner / Conventional Machine Operator in companies in the Oil & Gas industry.

• Expertise in handling conventional machines, tools, milling machines, vertical and horizontal drills.

• Basic English.

• Residence in Ecuador.
